Zombies don't make sense. I said it. I love 'em anyway. They don't make sense not because they are undead, but because they cannot understand fear. Zombies are painted out to be creatures that are very primal. They just run on instinct and a constant hunger for brains. So why is zombies are such primal creatures do they not feel fear? Or at least have some sort of logic that could tell them all their buddies just got shotgun shells in the head maybe this would be a good time to find brains whose hosts do not carry shotguns. I realize zombies don't have the best sense of logic, but I'd want to say their logic is on par with at least a dog's. And dogs definitely can tell when their buddies are dying.
So why is it that zombies don't feel fear?

That's what makes zombies scary. Vampires are afraid of garlic, sunlight and wooden stakes. No those gay sparkly things in Twilight don't count as vampires. Warewolves are afraid of silver bullets and lynch mobs.
ReplyDeleteZombies are like the Marines of horror creatures. Silent and always collecting intel until they are ready to strike. They are lumbering simple creatures when out in the open but when they catch you in close quarters you are dead. The fact that they fear nothing and only want to feed is unnatural so it immediately makes them scary.
