Pokemon

If somehow you've been living under a rock for more than a decade, the premise behind pokemon is that little kids go around putting wild animals into little balls so later they can use them to battle. I actually enjoy playing Pokemon from time to time. There is something fun about the team building aspect that adds more depth to the game than just simply leveling a single pokemon. Though of course I'm sure you could get away with only leveling 1 or 2 pokemon and be just fine.

My question for everyone is this, how is battling pokemon different than dog fights? In both instances an animal is kept in a cage until needed for battle. In both instances the battling ends when one side can no longer fight. However, we think of pokemon battling as sort of cute whereas dog fighting is a serious ethical violation.
